Angela Louise Bates Davenport passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at her home in Keller, Texas at the age of 63; after a short battle with cancer. “Angie” was raised in Irving, Texas and spent much of her life in the metroplex. She was a loving mother to her children Booker and Brigitte.
Angie was preceded in death by her loving son Booker, her mother Etta Black, her birth father Robert (Bobby) Joseph Moeller, her adoptive father Billie Don Bates, and her fur-baby Rascal.
She is survived by her loving daughter Brigitte Reynolds (Michael), daughter-in-law Kendra Lantz, granddaughters Lilly Rae Reynolds and Elena (Ellie) Davenport, life-companion Mark Cantu, sister Lori Strickland, sister Maribeth Del Castillo (Benny), and stepmother Peggy Bates. She is also survived by her many friends and extended families.
Angie had a love and passion for dance. She was a fierce lightening streak on the dance floor and known for always walking away with the grand-prized trophy! Her love for dance started at an early age and continued into her high school and professional years. She was on the Viking Drill Team throughout high school and was named Best Performer. She went on to be a dance instructor at Dance Tyme Dance Studio; and kept up competitive dancing, as well.
Another big love in Angie’s life was her 4-legged fur-babies: Buddy-Boy, Joshua, Caleb, and Lucy. Their love greatly contributed to the quality and happiness of her life! Most of the days of her life were spent with dogs running around the house!
Angie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and life-companion. She will be in our hearts forever and will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had the sweetest heart and was forever thinking of others. Angie, your memory will live with us forever. You will never be forgotten. We know you’re out there dancing!
You keep dancing, we’ll keep cheering you on… and loving you!
