Ann Stapp

Clara Ann Lumpkins Stapp, age 83, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 in a Kerrville care center. She was born August 18, 1933 in Junction, TX to Malcom Glenn Lumpkins and Rosa Regina Emilia (Hahn) Lumpkins. On June 9, 1951, she married T.J. Stapp in Mexico. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2001.\r\n \r\nAnn was a member of First Christian Church of Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, the Red Hat Club and a 55 year member of Beta Sigma Phi.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include daughters, Carrie Rothrock (Bill) of Kerrville and Glenna Carr (Virgil) of Johnson City; son, Johnny Stapp (Brigette) of Center Point; grandchildren, Tori Lewis, Teresa Gonzales, Snapper Carr, Derek Stapp, and Megan Mueller; great grandchildren, Christina Juarez, Christian Gonzales, Major Carr, Chapell Carr, Brayden Mueller, Audelyna Stapp, Alijah Stapp and Jasiah Stapp; great-great grandchildren, Noah Gonzales and Riley Paige Gonzales-Juarez.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 6-8 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 2 PM, Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Virgil Carr. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Snapper Carr, Major Carr, Chapell Carr, Derek Stapp, Christian Gonzales and Brandon Juarez.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.\r\n
