Arthur Heinen, 74, from Bandera, passed away on November 1st, 2015 in Bandera, TX. He was born in Bandera County to Glen and Merva Heinen on February 24, 1941. He was married to Linda Conner Heinen on August 6th 1967 in Elk City, OK. \r\n\r\nHe retired from the Texas Highway Department after many dedicated years. He enjoyed gardening, auto mechanics, electronics, and hunting with nephew Jacob Kindla.\r\n\r\nArthur is preceded in death by his father, Glen Heinen; mother, Merva Heinen; brother, Edgar Heinen; son, Joe Heinen and grandson, Jordan Majeski. \r\n\r\nArthur is survived by his wife, Linda Heinen; daughter, Beth and Stew Hess of San Antonio, TX; son, John and Jillian Heinen of Elk City, OK; grandchildren, Christian Baldwin, Sean Hess, Sarah and Bradley James, John Wyatt Heinen, Amalia Heinen, and Michaela Turner; great grandchildren, MaCayla James and Jordan James; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, TX. Burial will follow at the Bandera Cemetery. \r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Jacob Kindla, Ronnie Schmidt, Doug White, Ken Wilson, Rex Rackley, and Brent Hollier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gilbert Meier, and Mark Wisman.
