Barbara Judith Boalo

Barbara Judith Boalo, 86, of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at her home. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Judith and Walter Apster on July 2, 1938. 

She married the love of her life, Thomas Franklin Boalo, on April 8, 1961, at Fort Clayton Canal Zone. She graduated from Balboa High School Canal Zone. She worked as a recreation Director at MWR Services for the Air Force from 1961 to 1995. 

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Boalo, mother, Judith Apster, and Aunt Mildred Kopf. 

Barbara is survived by her three children, Robert Boalo, spouse, Darlene Boalo; Julie Jones, spouse Forrest Jones and Anthony Boalo. Grandchildren Tiffany Hunt, Natalie Boalo, Christopher Anderson, Gennifer Halcomb, Amber Woodham, Zachary Woodham and Nicole Boalo. Great-grandchildren Vance Hunt, Farrah Hunt, Kaden Anderson, Owen Anderson, Cora Anderson, Dylan Boalo, Sebastian Anderson, Trystan Halcomb, Hunter Popham, and Lillian Almeda. 

Service/Celebration of Life will be held at Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11 AM.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
