Betty June Miller, 80, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Leroy and Lola Roberts on June 13, 1941. She married Gerald Getty in December, 1958 and together they had three children. She later remarried Glenn Miller and spent her last years with Tom Warner. She graduated from East High School in Waterloo, IA. She worked several jobs throughout her life including GTE Telephone, in Atlanta, GA. Rockwell International in Chatsworth, California and retired from Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Lola Roberts. First husband Gerald Getty, and second husband Glenn Miller. Survivors include her children Tamela Getty Elliott (Tony), Julie Getty Crider (David), John Getty (Shelley): Sister Leesa Schultz: Five grandchildren, Cody (Harmony), Christopher, Casey Crider, Simon and Johonah Getty: Two great grandchildren, McKenzie and Jackson Crider: and several nieces and nephews. Viewing and visitation will be at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with son, pastor John Getty officiating. Graveside service following at Garden of Memories. Pall bearers will be David Crider, Tony Elliott, Tom Warner, Cody Crider, Christopher Crider, Casey Crider. The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends and especially, the nurses in ICU at Peterson Regional Medical Center. Visitation
