Beverley Jo Smith

Beverley Jo Smith was born on August 1, 1971, in England to Jeffrey A. Smith and Ann M. Smith of Lakehills, Texas. She passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, service, and deep devotion to family on April 23, 2026.

Beverley proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years—a testament to her dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to something greater than herself. Her years of service reflected her strong spirit and sense of purpose, qualities that continued to define her throughout her life.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Smith; her daughter, Lindsay Harris, and Lindsay’s spouse, Christopher Harris; and her cherished granddaughter, Emma Harris, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her daughter, Meaghan Krueger, and her spouse, Karson Krueger; her brother, Christopher Smith; and her sister, Stephanie Dorfler, along with her children, Madison and William Dorfler.

Beverley was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Smith, and her brother, Steven Smith.

Outside of her service and family, Beverley found happiness in life’s simple, beautiful moments—caring for her three beloved dogs, getting lost in a good book, and spending meaningful time with those she loved most. Her warmth, humor, and quiet strength left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
