Brenda Kay Wilson

On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Brenda Rhoads Wilson's faith became sight when she passed from this life into the arms of her savior. Brenda was born February 12, 1943, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Benjamin Franklin Rhoads and Verlie Marie Ragsdale Rhoads. 

She worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department at Hurley Medical Center in Flint Michigan, where she retired in 1990. After retirement, she and her first husband traveled the country in their RV. After his death in 2003, Brenda married Charles Douglas Wilson on September 7, 2014, in Bandera, TX. 

Brenda is preceded in death by her father and mother, her first husband, David Harold Stanley; her sister, Linda Meeker; and her brother, Robert Gene Rhoads. 

Brenda is survived by her husband Charles Wilson, her twin sister Glenda Rhoads Klebba, and her brothers Charles Steven Rhoads and Jerry Franklin Rhoads, numerous nephews and nieces, step children Mitch and Ann Wilson, Mark and Laurie Wilson, Wes and Lori Reed, step grandchildren, Josh and Alex Wilson, Christopher and Jessica Dawson, Christi Reed, Dylan Reed, and Avery Reed. Step great grandchildren Parker Wilson, and Eva Wilson.

Visitation is scheduled for 12:30pm on March 23, 2026, at Bandera Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm, with interment at Bandera Cemetery.
