Spanish became her second language, which she would later use to assist her husband in his work. Twelve years later, the family moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where she graduated from Eastern Hills High School and then entered nursing school.

Her kindness and generosity went beyond her immediate family, positively transforming the lives of her many friends and even strangers along the way. No one was a stranger. She will be remembered for her unselfish spirit, doing more for others than she would ever realize.
Carol approached every task with pride, determination, and a deep sense of purpose, whether she was leading a bowling league or organizing a bridge club. Besides bowling and playing bridge, she loved watching football and eagerly awaited the start of the new season each year.
Her Christian journey began when she was a teenager. She loved her Lord and served Him faithfully, becoming a charter member of Pipe Creek Community Church. She has now transitioned from life into eternal life and has received her reward, the very pursuit for which she lived. She was truly a daughter of the King.
Her legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith, which guided her through life's challenges. Carol's smile was contagious, her wisdom profound, and her love boundless. She leaves behind a family that cherishes her memory and a community that she enriched. Though she is deeply missed, her legacy continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
