Carol Ann Wolf

February 28, 1946 — April 13, 2026

Carol Ann Wolf of Bandera, cherished wife, faithful servant, and devoted friend, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on April 13, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in La Harpe, IL to Carroll and Christabel Siegfried on February 28, 1946. Carol married Guy Wolf on October 26, 1978, in Kansas City, KS.

Carol began a career with Avon working her way to a management position that brought her to Kansas City, KS. It was there she met and married Guy. Shortly thereafter Guy was relocated to San Antonio, TX and it is there that they built a significant part of their life together.

Carol's life was marked by hospitality, prayerfulness, and quiet witness. She loved gathering with family and friends, sharing God's love through acts of kindness, and supporting her church and community. Carol was known for her kindness, her generous nature, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether through her work, friendships, or family gatherings, she touched the lives of many. She was a lifelong avid reader and could frequently be found curled up late at night under a favorite blanket with a book. She also enjoyed sharing books and offering recommendations with her children and grandchildren. While her health allowed, Carol and Guy loved traveling together, whether that was experiencing new places or returning to old favorites. Later in life when traveling was more difficult, she derived as much pleasure from researching any place her children and grandchildren were visiting and making recommendations of things to see and places to go.

Volunteering for her church and community became a passion for Carol. She held various volunteer positions in Bandera Methodist Church and maybe one of her favorites was helping to start the pre-k school program at Bandera Methodist Church.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Guy Wolf; children Guyla Clark and husband David; Trent Garmoe and wife Judy; Chris Garmoe and wife Kim; Christi Bielstein and husband Carl; grandchildren Jason Clark, Jamie (Jeremy) Towner, Cameron Garmoe, Garrett Garmoe, Robert Garmoe, MaryClaire Garmoe, Thomas (Anna) Garmoe, Olivia Garmoe, Lauren (Harrison) Saunders, Dawson Bielstein; 5 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, along with a wide circle of family and friends whose lives she blessed.

"l am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” -John 11:25
