Carrie Louise Faglie was born July 21, 1954 to Benton and Mildred McGilvray in Mexia, Texas.

Carrie married Jessie Faglie July 27, 1972. Together they raised four children: Shawn, Scott, Josh, and Becki. Carrie loved the beach, quilting, and cooking for her family and friends.

Carrie passed peacefully surrounded by her children and husband October 17, 2025. Carrie’s memory will live on in her children, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her love for life and her loyal devotion to her family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 beginning at 1pm. A funeral service will follow at 2pm.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
