Cassandra Breanne Perez

Cassandra Breanne Perez, 29, was born on November 19, 1996, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on March 15, 2026. She spent much of her life in Bandera, Texas, where she grew up and attended Bandera High School.

Cassandra had a vibrant spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed hiking and listening to music, especially rap and country. Pink was her favorite color, a reflection of her bright and warm personality. She was known for her happiness and the joy she brought to those around her. Above all, Cassandra loved her children deeply—they were her greatest pride and the center of her world.

She is survived by her loving family: her mother, Sonia C. Perez; stepfather, Derek Nelm; father, Rodrigo E. Perez; brother, Rodrigo E. Perez III; sister, Brittney Perez; her children, Oliver S. Perez, Oaklyn Ventura, Layni L. Ventura, and Elie Lozano; grandmother, Rosalba B. Cortez; uncles, Pablo Cortez III and Daniel Leal; aunt, Dolly Leal; and cousins, Damaris Flores, Christian Flores, Danise Leal, and Catherine Leal.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, at 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Bandera Funeral Chapel.

Cassandra will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, her laughter, and the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
