Cleveland Wayne Edens

August 6, 1944 — April 7, 2024

C.W. Edens joined his Heavenly Father on April 7, 2024, at the age of 79.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Ann Edens, his kids Deron and Stephanie, their spouses Angie and Jeffro, three grand kids: Jordan, Lauryn and Deacon and his sister Beverly Majors.

He was a Southern Babtist preacher most of his life; surrendering to preach at the age of 16. Although he had many contributions to people in churches and their communities, he is best known and love for:

A smirk he tried to hide while pulling someone’s leg.
Creating and playing childhood games well into his later years
His love of music singing and often times making up his own lyrics
Photography, bird watching, the stars and naming cloud formations.
Enjoying a good cup of coffee, pastries often homemade, and breakfast at Los Palapas
Wrestling and trying out new moves on family, most times as a surprise attack
Life lessons that were taught by example always.
His love, affection, and dedication to his grand kids
His pride, support, and love for his kids
His devotion to and love for his sweetheart Carol Ann until his last breath
His love and faithfulness to his God
