David Brown

June 14, 1959 — May 10, 2023

David Earl Brown, 63, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on May 10, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Rosebud, Texas to Edward Brown and Loy Thomas on June 16, 1959.

He graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in Rosebud, Texas.

David enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1981, where he served his country as an Air Force medic until retirement.

My dad was one of my favorite people. He used to enjoy watching movies with us—cartoons, classic shows, and westerns. He loved going out to eat, fishing, and grilling. He made the best brisket and ribs; don't forget about these crab and shrimp boils, either. We'd talk on the phone almost every day, and I already miss the sound of his voice. He loved to talk, and he loved his family. He had huge dreams of winning the lottery and of us all living together. He was here for me in good times and bad.

David is survived by his wife, Lee Brown of San Antonio, Texas; ex-wife, Deborah Brown of Bandera, Texas; daughter, Breann Brown of Bandera, Texas; son, David Brown and wife Carissa of Bandera, Texas; stepdaughter, Bailey Lee Bradshaw of Lockhart, Texas; and grandchildren, Riley (15), Ava (11), Abigail (7), and Cooper (1).
