Deborah (Debbie) Kaye Rogers, 59 of Eddy, Texas died August 22, 2021 from complications with Covid-19. Debbie was born in Houston, Texas on November 21, 1961, to Thomas and Margret Martin. Debbie always did well in school, and attended high school at Waltrip in Houston, and worked for many years cleaning houses. Debbie was married for 15 years to Gil Rogers. The two enjoyed singing together while he played the guitar. They were both heavily involved in the building of their church, Central Texas Church of God, and supported the congregation with their love and music. Debbie was very caring and thoughtful, and created many homemade cards that she sent to those who were ill or needed encouragement. Her joyful laugh will always be remembered! Debbie was followed in death by her husband Gil, who also succumbed to Covid-19, a week later on August 31, 2021. She is survived by her sister, Linda Shumway of Belton, TX. Gil and Debbie will both be buried in the Roger's family cemetery in Medina, Texas. The funeral was conducted by Grimes Funeral Chapels.
