Deborah Willeford

September 6, 1947 — June 11, 2022

Deborah Willeford of Bandera, Texas passed away June 11, 2022, at the Bandra Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bandera.  She was born in Stuart, Oklahoma to Earnest L. Null and Thelma Bowers Null on September 6, 1947.  She married Chuck Willeford on August 10, 1970.

Deborah went to school in Stuart, Oklahoma, earning Valedictorian honors of her class and graduated with a teaching degree from East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma.  She was a master teacher, mother, and wife.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Chuck; two children, Jodie and David, both of San Antonio, Texas.

Following cremation, Deborah will lie at her home encased with the pups she loved so much and await Chuck’s passing as they planned.

Deborah loved her family, cruising on the oceans, quilt making, and shopping.  Online one may find examples of her quilts and pictures of places ventured.

Deborah from a small town, had only 16 students in her graduating class.  She learned to sew, making many of her clothes along with quilts.  She was an outstanding catcher on the softball team.

Several years after marriage, she and Chuck began cruising and traveled as much as possible.  They traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, the Eastern and Southern Caribbean and Mexico, just to name a few.  Her favorite was the island of Dominica.  The loves of her life were her children, both now grown adults and responsible.

A loving, caring farewell to wife Debbie and mom to Jodie and David.

The family is offering invitations to all who knew Debbie to come to our home in Bandera, Texas to visit and say “Hi” to her.  She is missed. Debbie and I were married 51 years, 10 months.  God Bless Her.
