Delia C. Ramirez

November 15, 1953 — December 14, 2025

Delia C. Ramirez, age 72, of Laredo, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Bandera, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 15, 1953, to David Camarillo Sr. and Felipa (Robles) Camarillo. On December 17, 1971, Delia married the love of her life, Hector Ramirez Sr., in Laredo, Texas. Together, they shared over 53 years of marriage and built a life rooted in devotion, faith, perseverance, and family.

Delia was preceded in death by her beloved father, David Camarillo Sr., and her brothers, Sergio Camarillo, Alfredo Camarillo, and Gerardo Camarillo.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Hector Ramirez Sr.; her children: Hector (Monica) Ramirez Jr., Joann Ramirez (Luis Perez), Eduardo (Noemi) Ramirez, David I. (Reyna) Ramirez, and Janette F. Ramirez (Hunter Altman); her loving mother, Felipa (Robles) Camarillo; and her siblings: David (Oralia) Camarillo Jr., Elvira Ramos, Hector (Guadalupe) Camarillo, Luis Camarillo, and Patricia (Rene) Sandoval.

Delia was the proud and loving grandmother of Ashley Klarissa Rodriguez, Atalie Nicole Parker, Luis Emanuel Perez, Elizabeth Perez, Eduardo Ramirez Jr., Hector Ramirez III, David Isidro Ramirez Jr., Gianna Elisha Ramirez, Joel Ramirez, Eli Sam Chavez, Jasmin Ramirez, Jay Junior Ramirez, and Rebecca Ramirez. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Adam James Parker, Ava Rosalynn Perez, and Roman Elijah Parker.

Delia dedicated her life to her husband, her children, and her family. She was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering persistence, and a heart full of love. Fiercely protective and endlessly caring, she always made sure everyone around her was okay. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. As Scripture reminds us, “Children’s children are the crown of the aged, and parents are the pride of their children” (Proverbs 17:6). Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home that will never be forgotten.

Visitation and Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for immediate family, and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for all others, with the service beginning at 3:00 p.m., at Bandera Funeral Chapel, located at 1214 Mulberry Street, Bandera, Texas. Services will be officiated by Pastor Tony Garza of Westover Hills Assembly of God.

The Ramirez family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. David Friedman, the Main Methodist Hospital 8th Floor Oncology nurses and PCAs — Mary Ellen, Lupita, Julianna, Ramiro, Emily, and Veronica to name a few, the physical therapy team Chely and all others, and Methodist Hospice Hill Country, especially Veronica, RN. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the compassion, dignity, and care you showed our mother during her journey.

Delia’s legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the love she gave freely, and the strength she instilled in all who knew her.

Delia was a woman of faith who trusted God throughout her life’s journey. While we grieve her earthly loss, we rejoice in the promise that she is now at peace, healed and whole, resting in the presence of her Lord. Her love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on through the family she so dearly cherished. Until we meet again, we take comfort in knowing she has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
