Della Commander

Della Fay Commander, 84 of Kerrville passed away on July 17th, 2016 at Edgewater Care Center. She was born in Childress, Texas to Winford and Pearl Harrill on June 1, 1932.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Commander and her parents.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her sister, Betty Myers of Groveton, Texas. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.\r\n \r\nShe was a lady that was well respected and loved by many. She was the first one there to help a friend or an animal in need. She supported many animal shelters. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and provided transportation to doctor appointments for her friends that could no longer drive.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday July 21st, 2016. She will be joining her husband Billy in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nWe wish to thank Peterson Hospice for making her last few days comfortable.\r\n
