Delmar Burris

Delmar Burris, age 76 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 23, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Morris and Emma Jane (Gipson) Burris. On October 19, 1963, he married Inez Wilson in Houston, Texas.\r\n \r\nDelmar served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. He was a carpenter.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include wife, Inez Burris of Kerrville; daughters, Emma Burris (James Miller) and Joyce Burris, all of Kerrville; sons, Morris Burris of Kerrville and Lesley Burris (Lisa Botting) of Bangor, Maine; sisters, Thelma Dudek of Sun City, Arizona and Peggy Brehm of Clarksville, Arkansas; brother, Douglas Burris (Anna) of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Joshua, Parisa, Jonathan (Megan), Kaytlan, Kairi, Hailee, Kayden and Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 22, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Dustin Coon and Jonathan Burris. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Parisa, Joshua, Jonathan, Morris, Lesley, James and Douglas.\r\n \r\nThose who desire, may make memorial contributions to the Kerrville Apostolic Church.\r\n
