Ruth Denice Teich, 59, of Bandera, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2020. She was born in San Antonio on March 13, 1961, to Doris Pingleton and Al Evans. Denice graduated from Bandera High School in 1979. She married the love of her life, Michael Teich, Sr., on November 3, 1978, in Bandera. From this marriage came 3 wonderful children and five grandchildren. Denice spent her life caring for her family as a full-time homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time watching her children participate in rodeo activities, delighting in her oldest daughter's cheerleading activities and cheering on her son in his sports. Denice was always the best room mom for all her kids classes and delighted in helping her kids with their 4H and FFA projects. She also loved to sew, quilt, garden and bake. She enjoyed spending time with Michael while checking on their cows. Denice and Michael enjoyed their travels, her favorites being Hawaii and seeing Niagara Falls. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them baking cookies and playing outside. Denice was an active member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. \r\n\r\nDenice is preceded in death by her mother Doris Watts, her twin sister Peggy Jenice Cooke, and sister Jennifer Evans. \r\n\r\nDenice is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Teich, Sr.; children, Michele Henderson, Jennalee Richardson, and Michael Teich, Jr. and wife, Rabecca; father Al Evans and wife, Anita; sister Stephanie Stipanovic and husband Paul of San Angelo; stepfather, Jerry Watts; grandchildren, Kylee Henderson, Bristol and Braxton Richardson, Perry and Wyatt Teich; nephews, Travis and Taylor Eden, Stephen and Zachary Stipanovic; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. \r\n\r\nA Celebration of Life will be held 10 am on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera.
