Derek Ryan Meissner, 35, of Bandera, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026. He was born on March 26, 1991, in San Antonio, Texas, to David and Margaret Meissner.

Derek will be deeply missed by his loving parents, David and Margaret Meissner; his sister, Kaitlin Meissner; and many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched. He will be remembered and cherished for the memories shared and the special place he held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bandera Funeral Chapel in Bandera, Texas.

A funeral services will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Bandera Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Bandera Cemetery.
