Diane Jeanette Lee

June 17, 1958 — March 2, 2026

Diane Jeanette Lee, a Bandera, Texas resident, was born on June 17th, 1958, in Laredo, Texas, to Damon and Clara Kadura Lee and entered into rest on March 2nd, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Debby Lee Windham, and a niece, Christina McDonough.

Diane leaves behind a son, Michael and Sheila Lee and her beloved grandsons Kaden, Nicholas and Jackson as well as her brother, Scott D. Lee (Gioconda) and many nieces and nephews.

Diane was a graduate of John Marshall H.S. in San Antonio, Texas. She knew she wanted to help others as early as 1979. She served as a medic in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge in 1983. After the Army, Diane attended nursing school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2007.

Diane enjoyed time with family, fishing with her Dad, camping at Garner State Park, and shopping with anyone willing to accompany her. She particularly valued her pool and 42 (dominoes) partner and niece Barbara Marie. She enjoyed crocheting, and the companionship of her dog, Dudley.

Diane dedicated thirty-five years as a registered nurse and carried the friendship of her colleagues into retirement. She will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, beginning at 11 am at Pipe Creek Cemetery. 

Reception will follow immediately at Pipe Creek General Store and Dance Hall.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
