Dolores Dorothy (“Dee Dee”) Fender was born December 27, 1932, in Oahu, Hawaii, the first of six children born to Charles and Cora Densford, and was a long-time resident of Pipe Creek, Texas. Dee Dee passed away August 30, 2025, at the age of 92.
Dee Dee had six children. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband John R. Fender, three brothers, and one son John C. Fender. Dee Dee is survived by her sister Elena D. Watkins, her brother Daniel Densford, and five children: Paul Henry "Hank" Fender, Peggy Sue Honeyman-Scott, Julia Hope Swainson, Jenni Anne Fender, and James R. "Moose" Fender, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dee Dee was a courageous mother, grandmother, advisor, confidant, and rock to her family. She left a hole in the world, and all who knew her are comforted that she is at peace in the arms of the Lord. Dee Dee will be cremated and her ashes honored in a private family ceremony.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
