Doris Henderson

Doris Josephine Henderson, age 89 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in a San Antonio hospital. She was born August 21, 1927 in Comfort, Texas to Alfred and Josephine (Ransleben) Stieler. \r\n \r\nShe had worked in the Kerr County Clerk's office and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Milby Whitney, Edna Flack, Bessie Pahl and Elsie Bartholomew; and brother, Elmer Stieler.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by two sons, Dale Henderson and wife Mary, and Aubrey Henderson; sister-in-law, Irene Stieler; grandchildren, Jeff, Sheli, Shawn Lee, Jamie and Shawn Douglas; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 5-7 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Comfort Cemetery officiated by Rev. Joshua Sullivan.\r\n
