Elaine Elizabeth Christy Swilley, 94, of Boerne, TX passed away on May 15th. 2025, peacefully at home, under the care of her daughters Roxanne Howard, Terri Brown, and granddaughter Kimberly Santos.

Elaine was born in Amarillo, TX on 12/18/1930. While attending school at Amarillo High School in Amarillo, Texas, she had the opportunity to work for Southwestern Bell at the age of 17. She retired as a long-distance operator with 43 years of devoted service to Southwestern Bell/AT&T telephone company. She was also a member of the Pioneers.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd William Christy and Irene Elizabeth Giles-Page, and husband Leon Swilley.

Elaine is survived by her son, Mike Stone and wife, Maria of Frederick, OK. Daughter Roxanne Howard of Boerne, TX, and Daughter Terri Brown of Boerne, TX. Sister, Juanita Lively of Amarillo, TX. Grandchildren, John Howard and wife, Amy of Albuquerque, NM. Caryn McNair and husband Aaron of Oroville WA. Dwayne Wilkins and wife, Kari of Eagle Pass, TX. Kimberly Santos and husband Sean of Bandera, TX. Sean Scott of San Antonio, TX. Dylan Stone of Bay City, ТХ.

Great Grandchildren, Maya Howard, Makara Howard, Aaden McNair, Ava McNair, and Jared Wilkins.

Niece, Becky Whittaker and family, and nephew, Robert Lively.

The family of Elaine Swilley wishes to extend our sincere thanks to River City Hospice, her nurse, Becky Jenkins, and Bandera Funeral Chapel.

Cremation is entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel of Bandera, TX.

To honor our precious Mom, Grandma, Gramie, Granny, and GG, we will have a family gathering at a later date.
