Gerald Dean Pierce

Gerald Dean Pierce, age 74, of Yoakum, TX, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 23, 1951, to Bobby and Clara Steen. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Gerald Dean was known for her strength, honesty, and unwavering love for her family.

She married the love of her life, Ronnie Pierce, and together they shared 56 years of marriage. Their story began when Gerald Dean was just 13 years old, and throughout their life together, they built a home filled with love and happiness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Clara Steen, and her beloved daughter, Robin.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Pierce; daughter, Raven Pierce and Gary; son, John Pierce and wife Tiffany; and her sister, Terri Steen. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Steven Cole, Mathew, and Alysha (children of Robin); and Logan, Kirstin, and Brenna (children of John); as well as numerous great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephew: Todd, Tara, and Taylor.

Gerald Dean’s greatest joy was her family. She was a constant presence, the steady hand and voice of reason, the one you could count on without question. Her legacy of love, honesty, and fierce devotion will carry on through the generations she helped shape.

A mother holds her children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever.

A memorial service is still pending at this time.

The family requests to simply honor Gerald Dean’s memory by spending time with those you love and living each day with intention and grace.

Gerald Dean Pierce will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
