Hampton Dews II, 73, passed away on November 28, 2020 in Medina, Texas. He was born in Augsburg, Germany to Claire Vernon Dews and Hampton Dews on May 27, 1947.\r\nHampton Dews II proudly served in the US Army Special Forces retiring as a Major. He co-owned and operated MiTex with his partner and longtime friend Beverly Cox. He was a member of the Special Forces Association, the Green Beret Foundation of San Antonio, and served as a lifelong supporter of Save the Montagnard People Inc. \r\nHe is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lavonia Hampton Dews and Nellie Wilkins Vernon and his parents, Claire and Hampton Dews.\r\nHampton Dews II is survived by his children, Valen Forest Dews and wife, Deadra, Harlan Bedford Dews and wife, Christy and Evan Mosby Dews and wife Catalina; sisters, Marcie Dews Mitchell, Amy Dews Feemster and husband, John; brother, Brett Mitchell; niece, Lani Collins; nephews, Kenneth Hampton Collins, wife Andrea and grandniece, Luella Claire Collins, Jackson Pierce, Tyler Feemster and Desiree, James Feemster and wife Kady; grandchildren, Maddie Benge, Kristynn Kinsel, Landry Kinsel, Ashlie Gilbert, Devin Dews, Dani Dews, Amalia Dews; grandnieces and grandnephews, Liam Feemster, Mckenna Feemster, Everest Feemster, Avery Feemster, Preston Feemster; great grandchildren, Wade Benge , Kenslie Gilbert; cousins, Tana Burk, Brenda Sue Vernon, Marty Schumaker, Jane Ann Henry,Peter C.
