Jackson Whalen Iii

Jackson “J.D.” Dale Whalen III of Lakehills, Texas passed away on September 12, 2022 at his residence at the age of 28. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 25, 1993 to Diana (Devore) and Jackson “Jack” Dale Whalen Jr.

Jackson was a gifted musician and once he graduated from Bandera High School in 2012 he was able to expand on his passion. He loved playing the guitar and producing his own music, building his own in home studio. Whenever he wasn’t in his studio, he enjoyed having BBQ’s with his dad.

Jackson is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Whalen; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his father, Jackson Dale Whalen Jr.; sister, Dallas Taylor Devore; Nieces, Maddie and Ally; Aunt Judy Freund and her husband Mark, Aunt Helen Glascow, Aunt Susan Sherwood, Aunt Leslie Devore and numerous cousins.
