James Robertson Jr.

James A. Robertson Jr., age 78 of Bandera, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in a San Antonio hospital. He was born July 14, 1942 in Alvin, Texas to James A. Robertson Sr. and Vira (Stout) Robertson. On February 14, 1981, he married Judy K. Burks in Houston, Texas.\r\n\r\nJames was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a drilling superintendent in the oil fields. He was a member of the Methodist faith and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by wife, Judy Robertson; daughters, Kathrine Ann Robertson Hull and husband, Jacob Longnecker; sons, James A. Robertson III and wife, Donna J. Robertson, Sean D. Cobb and wife, Kelly J. Cho; sisters, Callie B. Hutsell and Drenda Nugent; brother, Ricky Lynn Robertson; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nServices with military honors will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe.
