Jane Wooten Harben died Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born July 4, 1937 in Munford, TN.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dick Harben. Other surviving family members are her children, Richard Harben of California, Greg and wife, Beth Harben of Lewisville, TX, Ann and husband, Gary Carr of Spring Branch, TX; grandchildren, Travis and wife, Mallory Harben, Allen Harben, Joseph Harben, Katie Carr and Kelly Carr; great grandchild, Paige Harben; brother, Allen Wooten from Covington, TN; sisters in law, Shirl Williams and Pat and husband, Don Champion, both of Illinois. She also has many nieces and nephews that love her dearly.\r\n \r\nJane lived in Kerrville for 58 years. She worked at Tom Daniels Elementary, Law Office of Bob Barton and for the First Presbyterian Church for 20 years. She also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.\r\n \r\nJane was loved by many and truly had a gentle soul. She will be missed, but can rejoice in heaven. Much comfort can be found in that knowledge.\r\n \r\nThere will be a memorial service at 4 PM, Friday, May 13, 2016 in the old sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Dr. Rob Lohmeyer.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, a memorial to the charity of your choice is appreciated.\r\n
