Jimmy Rambin

April 11, 1941 — January 11, 2021

Jimmy Don Rambin changed his residence to heaven on January 11, 2021. He was born April 11, 1941 in Henderson, Texas to Lillian Pool Rambin and William Jones Rambin. \r\n\r\nHe grew up in Harlingen, Texas. After graduating high school in 1960, he joined the United States Navy where he received a commendation for saving the life of a pilot whose plane went down in the North Atlantic.\r\n\r\nAfter his service in the Navy, he married the love of his life, Jayne Crosswhite, and they moved with his job building bridges before settling down in Medina.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Jayne; children, Jana (Chris) Cain, Kelly Rambin and Donny Rambin; and his grandchildren, Lane Geisen, Chris Geisen, Stacey Francis (Mike) Molina, Cameron Rambin and Madison Rambin. He is also survived by his sister, Glenda Rychener, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\n\r\nJimmy loved horse racing and spent many hours planning his strategies. He won lots of "play" money while watching races online.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to thank all the nurses and doctors at Peterson Health for their loving care while he was in the hospital. Also, many thanks for the prayers and thoughtfulness sent to us during this difficult time.\r\n\r\nA celebration of life will be held at a later date.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
