Joan Leoan Wallace

With humble acceptance of God's will, her children announce the passing of their mother, Joan L. Wallace on December 5th, 2023, to dwell eternally in the house with our Lord and Savior.

She was born in Sandusky, Ohio to John and Margie Smith on June 14, 1931. She married George J. Wallace Sr. on September 22, 1951, in Sandusky, Ohio. Together they had four children.

She is survived by her sons Al and wife Suzy of Garrison Texas, Dan and wife Allie of Llano, Texas, daughter Joanie and husband Ken of Pipe Creek, Texas. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Kenny Reed and wife Kaci of Round Mountain, Texas; Dustin Reed of San Antonio, Texas; Christie and husband Josh Smith of Carrollton, Georgia; Jackie and Husband Keith Newsome of San Antonio, Texas; Heather and husband Chris Albright of New Braunfels, Texas. Her nine great grandchildren Holly & Kaden Newsome, Laurel & Avery Reed, Brantlee & Aubree Smith, Harper, Orin and Brodie Albright.

She is preceded in death by her husband George J Wallace, son George J. Wallace Jr. and granddaughter Kelly Suzanne Wallace.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday January 19th at 10:00 am at Hill Country Chapel located at 886 Mountain View Lane, Pipe Creek, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
