Julie Brangan

Julie Ann Cliffe Brangan, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home in Bandera, Texas. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Eddie Lynn Cliffe and Jackie Weber Cliffe on April 14,1972.

She graduated from Churchill High School; and, Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising. Julie spent many years as a Retail Store Manager in ladies fashion opening new locations from San Marcos, TX, Phoenix, AZ; and, Ventura, CA. She moved back to Texas and lived in Houston to be closer to family and continued working in retail. Julie then went to work at Teledynamics and AT&T in Business Consumer Electronics. She continued this line of work until she began taking care of her dad.

Julie was a life-long Lutheran and volunteered for many roles in and at the churches she was a part of over the years.

Julie met her soul-mate, Trey, in the Fall of 2018 and were engaged soon after. She married Francis (Trey) Joseph Brangan, III on April 13, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. They enjoyed visiting Gruene, Fredericksburg and surrounding hill country towns; family time; and, playing with their four-legged babies. This April 13th, they would have celebrated their third wedding anniversary.

Julie is preceded in death by her grandparents Jack and Maureen Weber and Edward and Gladys Cliffe; step-father, Donald Petrie; and, most recently, father, Eddie Lynn Cliffe.

Julie is survived by her husband, Trey Brangan; bonus-daughter, Jordan Brangan; and, bonus-son William Brangan; sisters, Janna (and Andy) Keller; Jaime (and Abraham) Frias; mother, Jackie Weber Nunnelee and bonus-dad, Joe; Step-mother, June Cliffe; mother-in-law, Charis Beal and husband, Jim; father-in-law, Frank Brangan and wife, Sandi; Nieces and nephews, Ann-Marie Keller Reynolds, Noah Keller; and, Madilynn Frias. Julie’s four-legged children are Willow, Peanut, Freckles and Chloe.

Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 14700 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78232. A small reception will be held afterward in the church gym.
