Kenny Lyn Dean, 80 years of age, left this earthly life on January 13, 2023 after a courageous battle with Lung and Bone Cancer. Kenny was born in Corpus Christi, TX on February 16, 1942, to parents, Lloyd and Sylvia Dean.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Sylvia Dean, brother Darral Dean, and sister Karen Dean Smith.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 30 years of marriage to Carmen Dean, of Medina, TX. and his daughter, Kristina Horton (Robert) of Hondo, TX.
Kenny was raised in Ingleside, TX. He graduated from Ingleside High School, class of 1963. He attended college in Warner OK, at Connor State College.
He was employed by CITGO Petroleum as an electrician and retired as a Supervisor of the Electric Shop after 28 years of service. He is a Veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army from November 1966 until May 1968.
Kenny enjoy his retirement years with his wife, Carmen, at their ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Kenny loved to fish, hunt, make improvements on their ranch and relax with a cold drink in the evening. They sold their ranch when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and relocated to Medina, TX., to enjoyed the few precious years left together on a smaller ranch.
At Kenny's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
