Koen King Stokes

Koen King Stokes, 39, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2026, at his home in San Antonio. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to B.H. Stokes and Olivia V. Stokes on May 3, 1986.

After graduating from Somerset High School, he then attended Texas State Technical Collage in Waco, Texas where, upon completion of his degree, started his career in the IT field. He was naturally inclined to IT and thrived early working with different companies, including his favorite, the San Antonio Spurs organization. He impressed others with his abilities at Amazon construction sites and also What-A-Burger corporate headquarters. He was also an amateur herpetologist and Master Gardener. He loved his dog Clutch, gardening with friends and listening to Bob Webster's radio show.

Koen is preceded in death by his father B.H. Stokes, Grandmother Micaela Cortez, and several uncles.

Koen is survived by his mother Olivia V. Stokes, brother Henry Stokes, brother Gary Stokes, sister Alana Stokes, nephew Colin Stokes, nieces Holly Vinson and Annie Stokes, and aunt Junita along with numerous other aunts and uncles.

A memorial service is pending at this time.
