In lieu of memorials, charitable gifts may be made to Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, Texas.

Laura’s profound faith guided her throughout her life. She cherished her family and friends and was deeply devoted to her work and service in the airline industry. She will be remembered for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and for being a trailblazing woman well ahead of her time. One fond family memory is how she successfully encouraged an all-male “Fathers of the Football Team” group to rename and restructure themselves as the “Parents of the Football Team,” ensuring that mothers had a voice and a place in supporting their children’s athletics.

The family of Laura Conrad wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Gloria Jackson and Monsignor Frank at Saint Stanislaus, as well as to the nurses and staff of Bandera Nursing and Rehabilitation, for their compassionate care.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
