Lucy Cook Moseley

August 16, 1938 — September 5, 2025

Lucy "Lucky" Cook Moseley, 87, of 280 Dallas Street, Bandera, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at 2:45 AM, and entered into eternal rest in heaven. Born on August 16, 1938, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Irene and Dudley Zane Cook, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her eight siblings.

Lucky was a devoted mother to her five children: Rick Ingram of Bandera, Texas; Robert Ingram of Orange Grove, Texas; Bill Ingram of Aurora, Colorado; Laura (Tiny) Wright, who predeceased her; and Lisa Holmes of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was grandmother to 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Throughout her life, Lucky embraced many roles, but none more important than being a nurturing mother and homemaker. Her heart was full of music, and she delighted friends with her skillful fiddle playing. A woman of many talents, she also worked as a dump truck driver, carpenter, part-time college student, and counselor, touching countless lives with her wisdom and kindness. Until her health declined, she hosted a ladies' Bible study at her home in Bandera, fostering a community of faith and friendship.

Lucky's vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
