Luis Gutierrez Torres, 62, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on May 3, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Benito Torres and Elena Gutierrez-Torres on June 30, 1954. He married Jesusita "Susie" Moreno-Torres on November 8, 2015 in Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nLuis went to school and graduated high school in Ozona, Texas. He worked as the lead housekeeper for the Peterson Regional Ambulatory Care Center in Kerrville for 31 years. \r\n \r\nLuis is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Benito Torres, Jr., and nephew, Vidal Torres.\r\n \r\nLuis is survived by his wife: Jesusita Moreno-Torres; his children: Luis Moreno, Jesse Moreno and Summer Zapata, Maria and Ismael Navarette, David Moreno, and Toni Moreno; his siblings: Vidal Torres, Alicia Fierro, and Guadalupe Gutierrez; his nieces and nephews: Esteban Torres, Valdo Torres, Ramiro Torres, Alma Torres, Juanita Torres, Martha Torres, Lupe Torres, Fidelia Torres, Paro Torres, Maria-Elena Torres, Martha Fierro-Hernandez, Eddie Fierro, Everto Fierro, Jr. Dennis Fierro, Jennifer Biggers, Manuel Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez, Christina Hernandez, Alma Delgado, and Oscar Gutierrez; his grandchildren: Stephen Hill, Leah Contreras, Jessica Moreno, Luis Moreno, Morgan Moreno, Madison Moreno, Mitchell Moreno, Makenna Moreno, Matthew Moreno, Ian Moreno, Stevie Moreno, Eric Navarette, Jeni Navarette, Jayson Espinosa, , Hector Chavera, Analicia Chavera, George Chavera, and Alex Chavera; and great grandchildren: Noah Contreras, Ashlynn Hill, Wyatt Hill, Anthony Navarrette, Celso Lopez, Jr., Brianna Lopez, and Bryson Espinosa.\r\n \r\nAt Luis' wishes, funeral arrangements will be kept simple. There will be a private family viewing at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, Texas.
