Marilyn Bone

Marilyn Bone of Spring Branch, Texas departed this earth for a better place on September 23, 2020. She was born on October 13, 1951 to Vernon and Mary Faris in Kerrville, Texas. She married Bobby Bone on August 14, 1971 in Medina, Texas.\r\n\r\nShe was a devoted, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Marilyn worked in education for most of her career, helping many students reach their potential. But what she loved the most, was watching her granddaughters participate in anything they ever did including, softball, cross country, dance recitals and showing lambs.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband Bobby; son, Zane Bone (Amber) of College Station, Texas and daughter Amanda Daly (Reid) of Spring Branch,Texas; brother, Preston Faris (Kay) of Sonora, Texas and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her granddaughters Kendall, Lainey, Kinzley and Kasadee were the light of her life.\r\n\r\n She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Mary Faris.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn's name to the First Baptist Church in Medina, Texas.\r\n\r\nThe family will hold a visitation from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Bandera, Texas with interment following at Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina, Texas.\r\n
