Mary Lou Sutton, age 68, of Bandera, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 27, 1956, in McKinney, Texas, Mary lived a life defined by compassion, faith, and unwavering dedication to those she cared for.
A graduate of McKinney High School, Mary found her calling in caring for others. She devoted her career to serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant in several nursing homes, where her gentle spirit touched countless lives. While she found great purpose in her work, her greatest joy and fulfillment came from being a mother. It was a role she embraced with all her heart and soul.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved mother-in-law.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through her children Jason Morgan (Dee Dee) and Travis Morgan (Arranda). Grandchildren; Faith Morgan, David Jones, Bel-eve Jones, Tyler Jones, Hope Morgan, and Travis Morgan IV. She is also survived by many extended family, dear friends, and a community of brothers and sisters in Christ who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Bandera Funeral Chapel in Bandera, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Mary will be laid to rest at Oak Rest Cemetery immediately following the service.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
