Megan Renee Westerfield, 41, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on June 27, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Megan was born on July 28, 1984 to Billy and Melinda Westerfield in San Antonio, Texas.

She graduated from Medina Valley High School, Castroville, Texas in 2002.

Megan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was known as Aunt Mimi to her nieces and nephews. Megan was an avid UT Longhorns fan.

Megan is preceded in death by her grandparents Edward and Mildred Markgraf and Bill Westerfield Sr. and Ruth Brooks, her aunt Tammie Raiborn and uncles David Stone and Marvin Raiborn.

Besides her parents Megan is survived by her daughter Kinsley Branscome; sister, Brenda (Danny) Andreas; brothers, Brian (Sarah), Brad (Stephanie), Brent (Shelby) Westerfield.

Nieces, Katie, Millie, Emily; Nephews, Brandon, David, Breckin, Owen and Wyatt.

Visitation will begin at 10 am with funeral services immediately following at 11 am on Tuesday July 14, 2026, at the Bandera Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the St. Stanislaus New Catholic Cemetery, Bandera, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Brian Westerfield, Brad Westerfield, Brent Westerfield, Danny Andreas, Brandon Andreas and Jared Markgraf.

The family of Megan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Vitas Hospice Center in San Antonio, Texas.
