Monroe Arnold Edwards Jr., a resident of the Edwards Ranch of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away on June 7th, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born on March 9th, 1947, to Monroe Arnold Edwards Sr. and Pearl Victoria Eaton, in San Francisco, California.
Monroe was a proud veteran who served in the Army E5 during the Vietnam war. He will always be remembered for his bravery and dedication to serving his country.
Before and after high school, Monroe worked at his father's diesel mechanic business, where he took great pride in his work and demonstrated a strong work ethic. His contributions to the family business were invaluable. After working for other diesel mechanic businesses, he traveled driving 18 wheelers all over the USA with his cousin, Gil. And then, later he moved back to Pipe Creek to open his final shop.
Monroe is survived by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved son Charles Monroe Edwards. Although Monroe will be deeply missed here on earth, we find solace knowing that he is in a better place and reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him, especially his son Charles.
Monroe Arnold Edwards Jr,” Butch” will always be remembered as an honorable man who lived a life dedicated to serving others - his country, work, and family - with kindness and selflessness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of sadness, and Immense Joy for his Homecoming with his Lord.
