Nanette Evans

Nanette Kiley Evans, 55, of Boerne, Texas passed away on July 28, 2020. She was born in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her parents William "Bill" and Elizabeth "Betty" Kiley. On July 28,1990, she married Scott Evans in San Antonio. \r\n\r\nNanette attended school in San Antonio, graduating from Ursuline Academy. She also earned a bachelor's degree from UTSA in Early Childhood Education and became a teacher at Passmore then Helotes Elementary School for a total of ten years before staying home to raise her two boys. She was noted for her Interior Design skills both at home and at the "White House" on the Evans Ranch.\r\n\r\nNanette is survived by her husband of 30 years, Scott Evans; her sons Austin Evans (Jessica) and Wyatt Evans. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Barbara Evans Skipper (Steve) and Martha Evans (Ken Thiessen) as well as cousins and friends.\r\n\r\nA graveside service will be officiated by Stuart Head at 10:00 AM Friday, August 7, at the Amasa Clark Cemetery at the end of Amasa Clark Road. It is located on the Evans Ranch, Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials to MD Anderson Center may be made online at gifts.mdanderson.org or the charity of your choice. The family thanks the staff at Alamo Hospice for their support; the friends and neighbors who provided daily meals for the family during hospice care; and a special thanks to Nanette's many, many friends who visited her during her illness.\r\n\r\nNote: Meet at Grimes Funeral Chapel, Bandera at 9:30-9:45 for line up.
