Following that he joined the United States Airforce in 1954 with the 551st Electronics Maintenance Squadron. He was honorably discharged in 1958 and went on to work with Shell Oil Company from 1959 to 1993 as an Exploration and Geophysical Seismic Operator and voluntarily retired in 1993. After retirement he moved to Mississippi to care for his mother in McComb. He was a true patriot and member of the NRA Golden Eagles, the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
Pete was one of a kind. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and singing and he could really dance! He loved deeply and passionately, and he had a generous heart. If someone needed help, he was always willing to lend a hand. We will miss his smile and laugh, his stories, his singing and dancing and just having him here. We are grateful for all the memories and the love he gave so freely.
