Ralph Stricker

October 16, 1954 — March 7, 2022

Ralph Stricker, 67, passed away quietly at his Lakehills home on March 7, 2022.

Ralph was born October 16, 1954 in Pearsall, TX, the son of Lee Roy and Avis (Morris) Stricker.

He attended middle school in Pearsall, TX and high school in Natalia, TX.  Ralph decided to leave home at an early age to roughneck on wells in the Texas oil fields. He learned much as a floor hand and worked his way up the chain gaining knowledge and experience in the industry.  In mid-1993 Ralph joined the Bandera Co. Constable Precinct 3 as a Reserve Officer and supported multiple departments between 1993-2005. During this time, he served the community as a Peace Officer and built an in-depth understanding of the various law enforcement agencies of Bandera and Kendall counties. Departments Ralph supported during his 10+ years of service included Bandera Co. Sheriff's Office, Kendall Co. Sheriff's Office, Bandera Police Dept., and Bandera Co. Constable Precincts 3 & 4.

Most recently, Ralph worked at A H Beck Foundation Co, Inc. where he was employed as a Certified Crane Operator. During his time with Beck, he traveled to a multitude of sites to drill holes for critical projects and was highly skilled at maneuvering his crane safely and efficiently.  Ralph loved working for Beck Foundation and took great pride in his job. Rarely did he hesitate to do what was needed to get the job done. Ralph worked at A H Beck Foundation until he retired at the end of February 2022.

During his service as a Peace Officer, Ralph met, courted and married the love of his life, Coral Limon, on October 28, 2000 in Bandera, TX. They shared a wonderful life together and Coral's family welcomed him with open arms. Ralph was a devoted husband that loved his wife and her family and would do anything for them. He was a good provider and family man that took care of those he loved and respected and was a hardworking, honest Christian man that believed in telling things the way he saw them. Ralph also had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing at Choke Canyon with friends and family, in search of catfish. He also took great pride in his gardening and willingly shared his bountiful crops of sweet potatoes, okra and tomatoes. He could also be seen at community events grilling up briskets, chicken and sausage to feed the masses.  Both he and Coral took great pride in their community and frequently served as volunteers in Lakehills activities.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Avis Stricker Sr., and his brother, Thomas Ray Stricker.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 21 years, Coral Stricker; sons, Jake Stricker and wife Angela and Luke Stricker and wife Amy; daughters, Cherice Stricker and Ashley Dantin; step-sons, Samuel Wilkins, William Wilkins, Benjamin Limon and Brian Limon; brothers, Lee Roy Stricker and wife Linda, Charles Stricker and wife Tonya, Jeffrey Harrop and wife Renee, James Earl Stricker and wife Jodie, and Dennis Stricker; sisters, Cheryle Parker and husband David, Jeanie Harrop, Carolyn Mueller and husband Bobby, and Kay Stucky; sisters-in-law, Cheryle Roberts, Candice Roach and husband Brian, Crystal Jeffers and husband Michael, and Charlotte Sepulveda and husband James; step-mother, Nancy Sadler; grandchildren, Brady Jake , Ashley Stricker, Lily Dantin, Nicholas Stricker, and Davis Stricker.
