Rhea David Hambright

Rhea David Hambright born October 7, 1948, of Atlanta, Georgia but resided in Bandera, Texas the last few years passed peacefully on May 17, 2025. Rhea was born to Edward (Jack), W. Hambright and Virginia A. Buck. He married Elizabeth Mastriani Hambright.

Rhea is survived by his siblings Ginny Hambright McDonald and Kelly Hambright, nieces, nephews and many great nieces, great nephews and friends who all loved him. They will never forget his wit and humor.

Rhea was the Fire Chief of Brookside Village, Texas for several decades. He was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, 2 tours, the tanker division and was awarded many medals.

Rhea is proceeded in death by his parents, son David, and wife Betty.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Alara Hospice, Miss Kassie, Miss Norma, Candace, Tommy Lee and Miss Irma.

Memorial Service will be held on June 5, 2025, at 2pm at Bandera Funeral Chapel.
