Robert Allen Madden

Robert A. (Bob) Madden, age 86, passed away on October 20, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas. He had been under the care of a hospital facility for several weeks.

Bob was born in Falmouth, Kentucky on March 18, 1939. He was a devoted father of four children: Vickie Sexton and family of Alabama, Connie Clarkston and family of California, Robin Marcum and family of Kentucky, and Robert Madden, II and family of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister Judy Ritchie of Corpus Christi, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy Montgomery was his friend during his life in Bandera.

Bob was a stone mason, a trade that he was active in throughout his life, often helping friends with home improvement projects. A proud veteran, Bob served his country in the United States Air Force for six years.

He was an avid poker player and made many lasting friendships through the game. Bob also enjoyed garage sales and auctions, collecting many treasured items throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at Robert and Nancy’s residence, 603 Cedar St. Bandera, Texas. All friends of Bob’s are welcome to attend.
