Ruby Ramona Oliver

Ruby Ramona Oliver, 83, of Lakehills, TX, entered into to her eternal resting place on April 30, 2025 in Bandera, TX. Born to Elmer C. and Hyacinth B. Wells on September 21, 1941, in Corpus Christi TX, where she would meet and marry her darling, Rogers H. Oliver on March 11, 1956.

Preceded in death by her parents Elmer C. and Hyacinth B. Wells, sister Doshia A. Pugh, husband Rogers H. Oliver, son Jimmy R. Oliver, and grandson Clayton D. Oliver.

Survived by her children Carol J. Ashby (Charles) of Chesapeake, VA, William O. Oliver, Ollis D. Oliver, Randall J. Oliver (Christine), and Sister Rita C. Peterson, all of Lakehills, TX.

Grandchildren Guy C Ashby of Arcata, CA, Hillary D. Keymon of Decaturville, TN, Kayleen Quigley of San Antonio, TX, Tasha Leyva, and Ashley Hernandez of Lakehills, TX, and 13 Great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Pipe Creek Cemetery, Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

The family of Ruby would like to express their sincere thanks to the Dr’s, Nurses, and all of their aids and staff at Bandera Nursing and Rehab Center during this very difficult time, and especially for allowing the family to stay with her 24/7. A very special Thanks to our hospice nurse Tennille for her gentle and compassionate care, and to Pat, one of our many night aids whose empathy was so comforting at a time of need.
