Steven Marion Vickers

Steven Vickers, age 75 of Bandera, Texas passed away on April 29, 2026. He was born in Arkansas City, Kansas to Jack and Shirley Vickers on July 30, 1950. He married Reina Guzman on January 1, 1996, in Kemah, Texas.

Steve grew up in Westlake, Louisiana. He graduated from University of La at Lafayette. He worked as a salesman for various industrial paint manufacturers for over forty years. He was involved in the men’s golf association at the Flying L Resort and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister (Vicki Guillory) and two sons (Matthew and Jack). Steve is survived by his wife, Reina, his daughter Allison Spelbrink (Grant) and stepsons Joe (Jennifer) and Michael (Jennifer), Guzman and six grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Memorials may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, P.O. Box 757 Bandera, Texas 78003. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Bryan Sims, APN, New Century Hospice and friends and neighbors who have supported us through this difficult time.
