Carolyn Sue Wier Keiser age 74 of Medina, Texas passed away March 1, 2016 at a local care facility after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 25, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Orville and Dorothy Smith Wier. \r\n\r\nShe grew up in Medina and graduated from Medina High School in 1960. She attended Southwest Texas State University. She married Neal Keiser on June 12, 1965. She taught first grade at Highland Hills Baptist School for four years. She was a member of Medina First Baptist Church where she taught the primary children's Sunday School Class until her health failed her. She was also a fifty year member of Medina Chapter 988 Order of the Eastern Star. Her family and her church were her life.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband Neal, one son, Christopher and his wife Jennifer and four grandchildren, Alex Keiser, Justin Ofsow, Katlyn Ofsow and Alyssa Greenawalt.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehab and the staff of Peterson Hospice for the excellent care she received during the last months of her life.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on March 7, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Allie Balko at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera on March 8, 2016 at 10 AM with graveside services following at Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina. \r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Norman Keiser, Forest Keiser, Joe Primm, Bill Morris, Robbie DeLeon and Justin Ofsow. Honorary Pallbearers are Alex Keiser, Travis DeLeon, Darrell Morris, Leroy Sutherland, Mark MacDonald, Miles MacDonald and Kenneth Hauser.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Medina First Baptist Church, P.
