Virginia G. Davis

Virginia G. Davis born in La Grange, Texas to Vastine M. Schultz and Leona Blume on October 2, 1943. She was married to Joseph L. Davis for 60 years.

Virginia went to D’Hanis High School where she was Valedictorian and then attended Texas Lutheran College on a scholarship. She worked as a bookkeeper for various agencies all her life. She worked also at Wells Fargo, Bandera as a personal banker.

She received honors and awards from the various companies she worked for.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Joe, two brothers, Ivan and Milton Schultz and many nieces and nephews. Among her many friends are Ida Marie Schultz and Linda Kittredge who was taking care of her during her illness as well as Cecil Smith.

The funeral and rosary services will take place on Friday November 15, 2024, at 7PM at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel. Mass will be held on Saturday November 16, 2024, at 3PM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera. Burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
